I'm not sure if it's because the Bose headphones I just replaced were so tired and old, but these new wireless headphones are really loud and the battery is lasting all day. I think of Bose as a high end brand (and they sure charge through the nose!) but this new neckband headset beats them out hands down. Everyone seems to be making earbuds these days, but I work in the woods - and I need something where the earpiece is going to be attached to something. If I get bumped by a branch or get tripped up and fall, I don't want to have to be searching in the leaf litter for a $200 earbud! (Guarantee, you would never find it). Finding a bluetooth headset that is one piece, having both earpieces connected to something is becoming a real challenge - Bose doesn't even make one anymore - so I was really happy to find these!
About the only con I can report is the wires that retract are REALLY flimsy. If you don't retract them whenever you aren't using them, there is a strong probability they will pull off if they get caught in clothing or handbags, etc. The wire is very thin - I just hope the retracting mechanism holds up to the amount of work I am going to put them through. The earbuds themselves are the plain, in ear kind which I do find work their way out of my ear canal over time. It would be nice if these had some kind of stay or loop that would keep the earbud in - though at least they aren't going anywhere if they do fall out. Also of note is there doesn't seem to be any volume control on the headset itself. What I thought was volume only seems to advance to the next song. :( Inconvenient but not a deal-breaker. Over all, worth the money.
